چکیده

This article proposes an open-source implementation of a phase-field model for brittle fracture using recently developed finite-element toolbox, Gridap in Julia. work exploits the advantages both and toolbox simulating materials. On one hand, use model, which is continuum approach uses diffuse representation sharp cracks, enables proposed to overcome such well-known drawbacks discrete predicting complex crack paths as need re-meshing, enrichment shape functions, explicit tracking surfaces. other makes very compact user-friendly that requires low memory usage, provides high degree flexibility users defining weak forms partial differential equations. Tests on single-edge notched plate under tension, L-shaped panel, with hole, beam symmetric three-point bending three holes asymmetric are considered demonstrate how Gridap-based Julia code can be used simulate
